EDIT: It seems like when every player sets the max framerate to 60 fps, this problem is fixed. Worked for me and for some people in the comments. Thank you for the quick answer btw :) yeah its really annoying Cap your fps at 60.

Should i buy Dead Island 2 on my pc or ps5. The game looks like it runs smoothly on ps5, so im a little stuck as i dont know how well optimized the game is, any advice would be greatly appreciated. Even with higher quality assets in the game, the PS5 version of games are usually smaller in size, because they use much heavier compression. Seems kinda backwards here. Subnautica for example is reported to be 14GB on PS4, and 3.5GB on PS5. Huge difference. devs might be inexperienced with compression.
