1. The F650GS twin has a smoother, more torquey engine. It also has more torque than the F800GS. (BTW- The F650 and F800 are essentially the same motorcycle, with differences in front brakes, forks, engine output and wheel type/size. Mpg is around low 50's, handling is very good with a decent spurt of acceleration that easily sees you past a line of dawdling cars. In fact, the F650 is BMW's 'entry-level' bike and is reasonably priced at around $10,000-$11,000 CAD, depending on version. Mine was considerably less because it was previously owned.
